Arquitectura Film Festival Santiago (AFFS) is an initiative to enjoy film and architecture that will take place at Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral (GAM)  October 18th through the 21st. AFFS handpicked the best films that show the connection between architecture and life.

AFFS is an initiative that joins the spirit of similar events around the world, major cities in North America, Europe and Africa develop festivals that reveal to the public the importance of the urban landscape through film. It is a way to entertain and to educate about our “urban heritage”. AFFS wants to take a fresh look at Latin America cities in terms of their cultural mix, from the cosmopolitan as a reflection of a country that wants to be “developed”.

Some  of the objectives of this festival are to promote active reflection on architecture in a way more open to all disciplines, to provide an enjoyable and stimulating event to the public, to reflect on the role of architecture in our world today, and to set a precedent for future festivals.

It was organized by Colectio AFFS and produced by Proyecto Arquitectura Ltda.
